This worjk has been inspired by the local banksia trees down by the water. These trees privide an abundance of shade, food, habitat and materials for tools and personal grooming. The flower spikes are used as a hair brush. The nectar from the flower spikes is often used to sweeten water. The nectar is nutrient rich and is a valuable food source for our babies when they are unwell.
