In Aboriginal culture we know nd accept all elements of the Earth are interconnected and related. This belief encompasses people, plants, animals, landforms and celestial bodies/spirits. 
On specific days food and medicines are collected from pre-dawn to last light subject to need. This vast knowledge on what, when and how has been passed down through generations of clan groups, thus ensuring the survival and health of all things connected to Country.
